* promotion of the "alpaca lifestyle" at fairs, show and events NEAOBA members feel passionately that their alpacas are like nothing else on earth -- inquisitive and gentle creatures that provide the most luxurious of natural fiber, as well as a solid business investment. There are no finer quality alpacas than right here in New England, which, with its' family farm tradition, ideal climate, and outstanding alpaca bloodlines and strong regional association (NEAOBA) make New England the perfect place to buy and raise alpacas. Just one touch...and you may fall in love with alpacas too!
We share a belief in the Ideal Alpaca Breed Standards, Ideal Alpaca Type, and the use of progeny-tested, impact sires we call Studmaster" males. It is through these males and their progeny that the genetic improvement of our individual herds will be assured.
At Parris Hill Farm, we pride ourselves on the quality of our award-winning breeding stock and our ARI registered herd reflects the direct results of our selectivity in genetics. Searching for only the best has enabled us to produce Huacayas that are not only conformationally correct with superior fiber qualities but who have also earned high regard and recognition in the alpaca industry. Bill and Linda Ley are very respected breeders in the industry and we are so pleased that they are our partners. The award winning PH Camelot's Challenger is the result of their outstanding breeding program.
AOBA is the driving force of the alpaca industry. Through its efforts, shows are organized, educational events held, and the direction of the industry is set. A world-class marketing program is implemented for the mutual benefit of all members. AOBA increases alpaca awareness, the value of our animals is solidified, and the industry is expanded.
